What is 3-MMA?
3-MMA is a psychotropic substance that belongs to the amphetamine family. It has an entactogen structure that is comparable to methamphetamine and a structure that is similar to methamphetamine with the exception of the methyl group.
3-MMA, often known as 3-Methoxymethamphetamine, is a kind of methamphetamine.
The hallucinogenic chemical 1-(3-methoxyphenyl)-N-methyl propane-2-amine belongs to the phenethylamine and amphetamine classes. Its compounds are derivatives because they are generated when they are substituted or replaced. Amphetamines are a kind of phenethylamine that has undergone substitution.
3-MMA was discovered and manufactured for the first time in 1970 in Italy. David E. Nichols rediscovered it as a non-neurotoxic counterpart later in 1991. In laboratories, 3-MMA is produced in accordance with all quality standards.
Though it has been proved to impede serotonin reabsorption, nothing is known about the characteristics of 3-MMA.
